Welcome to About…Financial

Hi…Jon Dunckley here!

This is the first time I’ve written a blog as Director of the About… Consulting Group, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Many of you reading this will know that I ran Fortica for many years. I loved Fortica, it was my baby… but it was limited. It was a financial services training brand – but the business had expanded beyond that. We had started to move into all kinds of sectors, and we needed to grow and evolve, hence The About… Consulting Group.

With effect from January 1^st, 2022, Fortica has rebranded as About…Financial. We still do all the same things, but now we’re part of something bigger. We’re one of five arms of the new company all working to single goal – the help ordinary people do extraordinary things:

• About… Financial (formerly Fortica)– training, consulting, and authoring services to the financial services sector
• About…Leadership– providing training and development for leaders at all levels – from a first management role to C-suite appointments
• About…Safeguarding – safer recruitment and safeguarding training to educational and other settings
• About…Education – consulting services to the education sector
• About…Coaching – personal and career development coaching through our experienced and accredited coaches

I’m also delighted to be joined in this expansion by my wife, Madeline, who has left her 20-year career as a teacher and head teacher to throw her considerable talent behind the expansion. We’ve recruited some fantastic associates from diverse backgrounds to give our clients the very best talent in the market. In short, we’re ready to go…
